Jill Painter Memorial Scholarship
Jill Painter was a lifelong Page County resident with many years dedicated to supporting healthcare in the Valley. Her family would like to give back to Laurel Ridge Community College students in the Health Professions program in need in hopes to provide the same support she provided throughout her life.
The scholarship award may be applied toward tuition, fees, textbooks, or other educational or program related expenses and will be divided equally between two semesters. Satisfactory academic progress must be maintained in order for the recipient to receive the award for the second semester. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the fall semester.
The scholarship will be awarded to Laurel Ridge students who meet the following criteria:
- Must complete a scholarship application and FAFSA
- Must be a full-time or part-time student
- Must be enrolled in a Health Professions Program
- Must demonstrate academic merit by having and maintaining at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Preference is given to students from Page County.
- Preference given for demonstration of financial need as determined by the financial aid office.
