Scott Edwards Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was established in honor of Shelley Scott Edwards, a former student who died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A graduate of Southview Sylvania High School in Ohio and Old Dominion University, Scott was a safety engineer who enjoyed both photography and sports until his death on October 8, 2005.
The scholarship award, not to exceed $1,500, may be applied toward tuition, books and/or fees and will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the fall semester.
The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria:
- Must complete a scholarship application
- Must be a full-time or part-time student
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must have and maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0
- Must be enrolled in enrolled in the Career Studies Certificate:
