Rotary Club of Luray Scholarship
Formed in 1905, Rotary International is a service organization of more than 1.2 million business and professional leaders. With more than 32,000 Rotary Clubs in over 168 countries, the organization is headquartered in Evanston, Ill. Rotary International District 7570 is one of 529 districts worldwide. The district covers Western Virginia and Northeastern Tennessee and has nearly 4,200 members and 83 clubs, including the Luray Rotary Club.
The scholarship award may be applied toward tuition, fees and/or books and will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the fall semester.
The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria:
- Must complete a scholarship application
- Must be a full-time and/or part-time student
- Must have and maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0
- Must reside in Page County
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must not be a recipient (during the current year) of the Luray High School Rotary Scholarship
- Must not be a recipient (during the current year) of the Page County Technical Center Rotary Scholarship
- Must not be a recipient (during the current year) of the Page County High School Rotary Scholarship
