F&M Bank Page County Scholarship

Established in 2013, the Farmers & Merchants Bank Scholarship will be awarded annually. The scholarship was established by Farmers & Merchants Bank, which is proud to be an independent community bank providing a full range of personal and business financial services. The bank was chartered on April 15, 1908, in Timberville, Va., and is the oldest banking business native to Rockingham County, Va. The bank currently has branches in Shenandoah, Page and Rockingham counties and the city of Harrisonburg.

The scholarship award may be applied toward tuition, fees and/or books and will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the fall semester.

The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria:

  • Must complete a scholarship application
  • Must be a full-time and/or part-time student
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Must possess and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0
  • Must reside in Page County
  • Preference given to a student enrolled in AAS Accounting program or Business Administration
