Exchange Club of Winchester Inc. Endowed Scholarship
This endowed scholarship was established by the Exchange Club of Winchester Inc. in 1995 for residents of the City of Winchester and Frederick County. The Exchange Club of Winchester has continually promoted higher education in the community for many years. This award will provide assistance with tuition and fees and will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the fall semester.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be enrolled as a full- and/or part-time student and be a resident of the City of Winchester or Frederick County. The applicant must show academic potential and be in need of financial assistance.
The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria:
- Must complete a scholarship application
- Must be enrolled as a full- and/or part-time student
- Must reside in City of Winchester or Frederick County
- Must have and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5
- Must demonstrate financial need

- The LFCC Foundation will identify the top six students that meet these criteria and invite them to submit a short essay of 300 words maximum in which you tell the donor a little bit about yourself including (1) your educational and career goals and (2) the impact of a scholarship on your educational pursuits this year. These six essays will be forwarded to the family to review and select the final recipient.
