James L. Bowman Business Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was endowed by Mrs. Beverley Shoemaker and her daughter, Rachel, in memory of their father and grandfather, respectively, Mr. James L. Bowman. The scholarship will provide assistance with tuition, fees and books for students pursuing a degree in business administration.

The award will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the fall semester.

To be eligible for this award, the applicant must be a full-time student, be enrolled in the business administration program, maintain a 3.5 grade point average and demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria:

• Must complete a scholarship application
• Must be enrolled in business administration
• Must be a full-time student
• Must demonstrate academic merit by having and maintaining at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA
• Must be a resident of Winchester or Frederick County
• Must demonstrate financial need
