James & Martha Watkins Scholarship

The James & Martha Watkins Scholarship was established in 2022 to support educational success to students in Page County. A $950 scholarship will be given annually. The scholarship can be applied toward tuition, fees, and/or books.

The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria:

• Must complete a scholarship application & FAFSA application
• Be enrolled as a full- or part-time student at Laurel Ridge Community College
• Must demonstrate academic merit by having and maintaining at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Preference given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office
• Preference to Page County residents
• Preference to students enrolled in engineering or nursing
