New Beginnings Scholarship

Established in 2007, the New Beginnings Scholarship will be awarded annually. The scholarship was established by a group of female business, civic, community and philanthropic leaders. It will be awarded to students who meet the criteria below.

The scholarship award may be applied toward tuition, fees and/or books and will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 in the fall semester.

The scholarship will be awarded to students who meet the following criteria:

• Must complete a scholarship application
• Must be a full-time and/or part-time student
• Must be enrolled in a degree or certificate program
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Must be a single parent
• Must possess and maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.5
