Margie Harrison LPN to RN Scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2015 by Professor Margie Harrison, RN, MSN, who retired from LFCC in May 2015 after 12 years of teaching at the college and 47 years in nursing. Harrison earned an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1990 from LFCC and continued her education at George Mason University, earning a Master’s of Nursing degree in 2003.
The scholarship may be applied toward tuition, fees, and or books and will be divided equally between the fall and spring semesters. To be eligible to receive the award for the spring semester, a minimum GPA of 2.0 must be earned in the fall semester.
The Margie Harrison LPN to RN Nursing Scholarship will be awarded annually to a full- or part-time student enrolled in the Associate Degree of Nursing Program.
